If you have ever thought "I wish someone would just tell me what to buy", you have probably also wondered what a personal stylist costs. In Delhi the answer depends less on the stylist and more on what kind of help you need — a planned shopping trip, a one-hour style session, or a full wedding.
This guide breaks down the three common formats, what each should include, and Blalo's own prices so you have a real number to compare against.
The three ways stylists charge
1. Per shopping trip (personal shopper). A stylist meets you at a market or mall and shops with you. You pay for their time — usually in blocks of hours — and you pay for the clothes separately, at the shop's normal price.
2. Per session (styling consultation). A one-on-one session, in person or on video, where the stylist works out your colours, your body shape and what to do with the clothes you already own. No shopping involved.
3. Per event or package (wedding styling). A stylist plans looks for several functions — mehendi to reception — and usually handles trousseau shopping and coordination. Priced as a package.

These are our current list prices. GST (18%) is added at checkout.

- Styling Consultancy (online, anywhere in India): ₹2,000 for a 60-minute one-on-one video session, including your personal Style & Wardrobe Guide (PDF).
- Wedding Styling (Delhi NCR): packages from ₹20,000.
We sometimes run introductory offers — the live price is always on the services page.
What should be included
Whatever you pay, a good stylist should give you more than opinions on the day. Look for:
- A plan before the trip. Your budget, the occasion and what you already own, agreed beforehand so no time is wasted. Our planning call does exactly this.
- A shop list and a route. In markets like Lajpat Nagar or Chandni Chowk, knowing which shops to skip is half the value.
- Honest feedback. If something doesn't suit you, they should say so — even if you like it.
- Something to keep. Notes, a palette, a list of what to buy next. After our consultation you get a written Style & Wardrobe Guide.
- Normal shop prices. You should pay what anyone else pays at the shop — the stylist's fee is the only extra.
Is it worth it?
A personal stylist pays for itself when it stops you buying things you never wear. Think about the last few pieces still sitting in your wardrobe with tags on — most people find the value of those alone is more than a session costs.
It is most worth it when:
- you have a specific occasion (a wedding, a new job, a date) and limited time;
- you find big markets overwhelming and end up buying the first thing that looks fine;
- your wardrobe is full but you still feel you have nothing to wear.
It is less worth it if you already enjoy shopping and know what suits you — then the free Blalo app may be all you need: it organises your wardrobe and suggests outfits from what you own.
Which one should you book?
- You're in Delhi NCR and need to buy things: book a Personal Shopper. Two hours is enough for one focused goal; three or four for a bigger refresh.
- You're anywhere in India, or want to start with what you own: book a Styling Consultancy.
- You're getting married: talk to us about wedding styling — the callback is free.
